Fairly flat cycle ride of approximately 40 miles/day on mainly quiet roads or off road on the Via Verde, though there was some cycling on busy main roads. We had non stop sunshine and temperatures in mid 30s for our trip in late September, but felt that some of the Via Verde route would be almost impossible if it was wet. There were some good hills to ascend most days.

Good cycling on varied terrain; canal path for first day; country roads, cycling by the sea, dirt tracks, sandy tracks, woodland paths, all doable and fun. Lovely scenery, lots of history, beautiful old buildings and D-Day beaches Omaha and Juno and the museums to bring it to life. Very moving.

I had an amazing time on the Absolutely Spain tour with Eskapas! As a vegetarian, I was a bit worried about finding meal options, but it turned out to be no issue at all. The Amalfi coast is gorgeous. If you like scenic views and delicious food, it's a must. Expect to get lots of steps in, as there are many opportunities for active travelers. Our CEO Shallal was the best guide, and even helped to coordinate an optional excursion to Capri (a must-see in my opinion) on a private boat. I came in a day early to hike up Mt. Vesuvius (not included, but I'd recommend if you have extra time before or after). A fun trip for this solo traveler!
