This is a excellent introductory tour of South America visiting 2 of the continent's most dynamic cities, (Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires) and one of the world's most incredible natural wonders, the Iguazu Falls. This is not a typical motor coach tour as it travels between locations using domestic airlines. All ground transportation to see the sites within the aforementioned cities and the falls was on large, comfortable coaches using different drivers for each location, all excellent. Everything went without a hitch thanks to our great tour director, Rodrigo. After this tour we want to explore South America more. Highly Recommended.

North Brazil is such a beautiful area of the country filled with tropical beaches and blue waters. However, this was nothing compared to Lencois Maranhenses National Park, which was included in the tour by CharlieTheTraveler. The sand dunes weaving through blue patches of water was a unique landscape. I think this would be my favorite destination on this tour. The company-provided tour guide was also a great addition to help navigate.

What an amazing trip, couldnt fault a thing! From start to finish, it was organised so well and our tour guide was so knowledgeable. A gentle introduction to Brazilian life on the beautiful island of Marajo with its golden beaches and buffalo was a great idea. The public ferry was pretty basic but gave a glimpse of river life, relaxing on a hammock as we sailed up the Amazon. Yes, the food was plain and a bit repetitive but it was freshly cooked, tasty and plenty of it. Santarem was a delight, just like a seaside resort. The jungle hike there was a bit tough (but so worth it!) with a local guide showing us all the ways the plants and trees are used by the local people, and a swim in a cool stream was most welcome. The private boat trip was fabulous; sleeping on deck listening to the sounds of the night-time jungle, canoe rides to see the wildlife, fishing for piranha and another hike were exciting. The food on the boat was superb! TV programmes on the Amazon just don't cover the scale and magnificence of the river and jungle so if you're looking for adventure, maybe a little outside your comfort zone, then go for it. For me, this was the trip of a lifetime!

Initially, I was reluctant to visit Iguazu as I thought its just another waterfall, but when I saw the beauty of this waterfall I was speechless. You have to visit this place to experience the beauty and enormity. The Macuco safari & boat trip to under the waterfall I am not going to forget ever. Since I was unable to visit the Argentina side of the waterfall, I was able to spend the day at the Itaipu Dam and also the 3 fronteiras (borders). What a memorable trip.

Everything went perfect. From the time I was picked up from the hotel in Manaus, the boat ride crossing the Negro and Amazon rivers, the drive from the pier to the boat ride to the resort. Luciana gave us a very positive vibe - it's as simple as that! Everything was excelent and she did it great! We loved all of it. But the Amazon was great! Our best activity was Paragliding in Rio and the best lodge was Turtle Lodge in the Amazon. The only thing we didn't like were the mosquitos and the hotel in Manaus!
