I had an amazing time. I'll be booking with G again. Fantastic tour, lovely hikes, and great info from our CEO. I genuinely could not have had a better experience.
Marcelo was a very good tour director. He took care of us in two ways: getting my wife to a doctor with a throat infection and staying up with me late to watch an NFL playoff game on his tablet.
El Calafate/Perito Moreno the clear standout.
Better to cut short time in Puerto Natales by one day and give us a day in Santiago instead. Too much lower interest filler in Puerto Natales (baby horses, cave, Rupestre). Keep Torres del Paine and boat to Serrano glacier and sheep farm visit.
It would have been nice to have a hotel more centrally located in Borgames. The Hotel Hamar Borgames was nice but extremely isolated. There was nothing to do. Other hotels were centrally located and there were retail and grocery stores nearby.
Honestly I really enjoyed everything. But if I had to pinpoint a favourite I think it would be how often we saw the northern lights. Due to the extreme weather conditions - a blizzard in October, we saw them almost every night which I think makes us really lucky, as I was expecting it to be much harder to see them. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the adaptability of our day plans by our TM and Driver when we needed to be kept safe, and had delays to departures on some days due to snow, icy roads, and strong winds - we still managed to see everything we would have in the end and made some surprise pit stops too! I was super stoked with the glacier hike, but it would be even more incredible if it was longer. The only way I think this trip could be improved would be to have the start time earlier so the first day is actually a full day, and start the travel straight away! Why do we need to stay in Reykjavík on the first and last night? It could easily be changed to make the trip feel like you see even a tiny bit more.
We had a fantastic experience working with Florencia and Mery from the team! From the very beginning, they were true partners in helping us craft an itinerary that felt personalized and well-balanced.
Communication throughout the planning process (and during the trip itself) was also excellent. They were always responsive and proactive, and we especially appreciated the valuable updates they provided while we were traveling. For example, when a transportation strike unexpectedly happened during our trip, they stepped in to help us navigate the situation and adjust our plans smoothly.
Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, well-supported travel planning!

Embark on an unforgettable Arctic voyage, beginning in Svalbard and sailing along the ice's edge to Greenland. Keep a vigilant eye on the horizon for unique wildlife as you navigate south. This journey offers multiple ways to explore the remote landscape—by ship, on foot, and via Zodiac—showcasing the striking contrasts and changes of the Arctic before concluding in Iceland, "the Land of Fire and Ice." Highlights include visits to an Inuit village, sightings of distinct wildlife, and the exploration of truly remote destinations. Plus, the incredible added wonder of experiencing a partial or even total solar eclipse against the vast, icy backdrop, turning an already spectacular view into an unparalleled cosmic event.
From close-up encounters with icebergs and glaciers to the region’s plentiful wildlife, this is a voyage of non-stop highlights. Always on the lookout for wildlife that live in this polar wilderness, you’ll explore this landscape not only by ship but also on foot and via Zodiac. Roaming polar bears, lounging seals, grazing reindeer, and colonies of birds all co-exist in this harsh land we dare only to explore a few months of the year.
Similar to our "Realm of the Polar Bear" tour, but with three additional days of exploring. Scour the ice and tundra in search of the elusive polar bear and encounter even more icebergs, glaciers, and unique wildlife than you ever thought possible on this 11-day expedition. Search for lounging seals, grazing reindeer, and colonies of birds under the midnight sun.
