Trulli are traditional houses built entirely of stone without mortar or cement.
Every year thousands of tourists can see the old city and visit the trulli with the tools of rural life in the early 1900s.
The visit will take place in the historic center through a path in the narrow streets of the historic center, with a visit to the trulli and neighborhoods of Aia Piccola and Monti.
You will visit the ancient church of St. Anthony, the only church in the world to the shape of trullo, opened to the public in June 1927.
You'll find the inside of the Sovereign Trullo (housed in the museum) where you can see the decor typical start of the century 1900s.

After seeing the cathedral you will visit the Church of St. Peter and Castle , reinforced by Emperor Frederick II and rebuilt by Alphonso II of Naples in 1485-1498 . It has an irregular plan with five sides , with a moat running along the Entire perimeter . In origin it had a single entrance , reachable through a draw- bridge. Towers features three cylindrical ones and a bastion called Punta Diamante ( "Diamond 's Head "). The entrance sports the coat of arms of Emperor Charles V.
Overall the trip was very good! we only had 4 people in our group and they picked us up from the hotel. they handled all the tickets to get into the tours, so all we had to do was show up. The lunch included was fantastic and the food was very good as well. Our driver was very nice and well informed about everything we did on the tour, including visiting the cathedral.
