My frst trip with Explore and it didn’t disappoint. Massimo our guide was very good and all the events were excellent. I particularly loved the farm visit to see Mozzarella being made and the olive oil & wine tasting. I also loved the walks! The accomodation was ok but not always comfortable and I personally would have liked just a bit more time between activities as it seemed very rushed! I will certainly look at booking Explore again in the future!

He timed the site visits perfectly so we were easily able to spend time at the Moorish Castle, Pena Palace, and Quinta da Regaleira in one day, with a break for a delicious lunch in Sintra and a stop to wander in town. We had the best time on the Greek Caique Cruise. The itinerary was fantastic and Thanos knew everything and everyone. We swam off the boat every day and when we docked in various ports Thanos was able to point us to the best places to go, organise taxis for us if necessary and in the evening recommend the best restaurants.

This was my first experience with Explore. Most people on the trip had been on numerous trips with Explore, which was impressive. After this experience I would consider other possibilities with Explore as well. I prefer to travel with a small group, which was one of the attractions for me to sign on with Explore; the pace was relaxing, the hotels were modest but very clean with great breakfast options and the walks were beautiful. Our tour leader, Damir, was excellent - a nice blend of professional and friendly and an astonishing historian regarding Croatia!
