We planned our epic trip to South America with Analia. She was excellent at listening, advising, tailoring, meeting expectations for our requirements to make this trip an amazing experience. Joaquina then took over to support and guide us through the finer details of the trip, and whilst we were on our holiday. We had access to a WhatsApp support for any queries along the way, a 24 hour emergency WhatsApp number also. The tours and guides were of all very good, with some guides standing out as excellent. We did find it a little annoying when on larger tours with multi lingual guides as we seemed to be in the minority. It felt like we weren't gaining from the same level of information as that delivered to the Spanish speaking! However, overall, the service was seamless, caring, friendly and professional. This was my first time in in Egypt, it was an unforgettable experience! After seeing the Great Pyramids in Giza I took an overnight train to Luxor and spent several days exploring everything Luxor has to offer. I found the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank to be particularly fascinating (So much Ancient Egyptian history in a relatively small area!). I then spent three nights on a Nile cruise towards Aswan. The weather was perfect and we stopped at two Ancient Egyptian temples, Edfu and Kom Ombo. My tour guide was a certified Egyptogolist named Ahmed Haggag Ali. He really seemed to enjoy being a tour guide and his English was perfect. He explained the temples to me and was able to answer all of my questions. Kom Ombo was particularly fascinating to me because it was an ancient hospital. After arriving in Aswan, Ahmed was also my tour guide for visiting Abu Simbel (Another must see part of Egypt!). I highly recomend visiting Egypt and having Ahmed as a guide, you will not be disappointed.

This was another thoroughly enjoyable Explore trip to a fascinating part of the world in terms of its rich history and present-day geopolitical relevance. The group we were travelling with bonded very quickly and were great company throughout the trip. Both tour leaders, Armene (Armenia) and Alex (Georgia) were excellent, communicated their knowledge and love of their respective countries with infectious enthusiasm and were genuinely lovely people. Both drivers also did a great job on sometimes less than perfect roads. There were multiple highlights but worth special mention would be both capital cities, Yerevan and Tblisi, the basalt rock formations along the Garni River Gorge, the spine-tingling medieval choral music at Geghard Monastery, a performance of La Traviata at Yerevan Opera House that wildly exceeded expectations, the amazing 12th-C cave settlement remains at Vardzia, hiking in the spectacular Kazbegi Mountains, plus all the amazing regional food and drink we sampled throughout the trip. Georgia's reputation as a bit of a foodie heaven is entirely justified. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip!

China: fantastic trip, saw the sites, are good food, learned, Howard was top notch, pace and transport was perfect and all well-timed Japan: Hidemi was great but there was too much trudging in the rail / metro system. Koyasan and Hakone were not worth it in my opinion for the amount of work it took to get there.
