Get to the heart of Albanian culture.
Delve beyond the sheep-dotted green landscapes to the cities and villages that span the country, all the way from Tirana to Saranda. Mingle with locals in rustic Agrotourisms, pick up a souvenir in the Neck of the Bazaar in Gjirokaster, drive along the Albanian Riviera, and walk across the historic Butrint. Explore Turkey like never during this private, guided, 13-day tour. Take in the sights and sounds of Istanbul with your tour guide during two full-day tours before heading for Cappadocia, the land of fairy chimneys and ancient churches.
Uncover the myths and legends surrounding Christianity in Ephesus. See its ancient ruins, including the House of the Virgin Mary. Continue to Pergamon, yet another historic destination and home to one of the Seven Churches of Asia according to the Book of Revelation. See the calcium terraces of Pamukkale before heading for the coastal city of Bodrum, the final destination in the itinerary.

I absolutely loved the tour! Istanbul was far more mysterious and grand than I ever expected. Our driver, Melih, was incredibly friendly, honest, and always willing to help. His genuine nature added a special touch to our trip. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to discover the true magic of Istanbul and Cappadocia.
I compared multiple small group tours and, for the equivalent price, Explore is much better value. The hotels are better, the entry fees (which can really add up!) are all included, private comfortable minibus (no public transport) the entire trip, free airport shuttle if arriving or departing on the day the tour starts/ends. As advertised, the itinerary was jam packed and rated "full on" : that suited me, as I wanted to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. It is recommended that you book a few days on your own in Istanbul, as there's a lot to see. The hotels were comfortable and centrally located with a couple of fancy ones included. Breakfast was substantial in all hotels.. enough to keep you fueled for most of the day. My only minor complaint is the guide often suggested expensive tourist restaurants. I found cheaper, tastier and more authentic eateries on my own by doing prior research. One thing I really did like about this tour is that there were no forced shopping stops which are so prevalent with other tour companies. I would definitely consider Explore! Worldwide in the future!
Encounter the history, natural formations and magnificent scenery that Turkey has to offer in this 12 Day ANZAC Day Tour. Begin your trip roaming the palaces and mosques of Istanbul, and explore the breathtaking sites of Cappadocia. Visit the calcium laden waters of Pamukkale, the Roman architectural theatres of Ephesus and the incredible ancient wonders of Troy and Pergamum. Sleep overnight in Gallipoli and pay homage to those have fallen at the Dawn Service and National Ceremonies.
We got so much more out of it than what we expected for such good value. Matt is a very intelligent, helpful, professional and diplomatic tour leader and we wish him well for any of his future plans. The coach driver Babios was superb as was the coach.
