Absolutely loved this trek! I did it in January with a friend and honestly thought it was amazing. Even though it was their winter, it meant that the trek was less busy, the days were warm and the local operator provided us with a warm sleeping bag and down jacket. This is a fabulous trek for those looking for a less traveled path. We really enjoyed passing through all the villages and meeting the locals (and donkeys, yaks goats etc) along the way. Very friendly people, we took a large bag of chocolates to hand out to kids which we would recommend. Beautiful scenery, fascinating villages and challenging hiking at times made for an excellent experience that will stay with us. We went in early March, weather was great but some groups were turned back at the pass due to snow. Helps to have some extra days in case weather is bad. Not for beginners or those not in reasonable shape. Enjoyed the quietness of the route (early season). Tsum Valley a definite highlight, would absolutely recommend adding this to Manaslu Circuit or on its own.

A wonderful little try through the foothills of the Himalayas. Not particularly difficult, one just needs a little determination after a few days of walking downhill in snow. BEAUTIFUL views from Poonhill and throughout the entire trek. The hot springs are a great touch at the end as well. Beware of donkeys!
