I don’t remember the name of the guide who took us to El Chaltén but we appreciated that he took us seriously as trekkers and suggested a slightly longer trek with beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed that trek! And we also were very happy with our guide in Tiera del Fuego. She was very lively, knowledgeable and provided us with a couple of wonderful hike and a delicious lunch. We loved all she knew about the birds, trees and geology on the area."

You could tell from the entire team and crew — each highly competent in their respective fields — how committed they are to their job, but also to Antarctica as a unique and most beautiful corner of the planet. Milagros and Marcela helped me plan a fantastic 10-day Essential Of Patagonia trip (mostly Argentina and 1 leg in Chile) and made the trip very smooth and easy to customize based on my preferences. For first-timers to the region, i would highly-recommend utilizing them as they are very knowledgeable and responsive. The Laguna de los Tres, Perito Moreno glacier, and the Torres del Paine Mirador hikes were sublime and unforgettable!! I would opt for "hard" hikes if possible to see the most, and try it out at least, and if not you can always tell your guide that it is too difficult and they will modify the path during the trek.

I would definitely recommend taking the Jungle boat ride. If you don't like getting wet, then forget about it, because you will get trenched! They give each person a bag to keep your personal items dry, such as your cell phone & other valuables. In this regard, the bag is even big enough for some clothing, so you could wear a bathing suit & place the rest of your clothing inside the bag or bring a change of clothes. You could always wear a very lightweight rain coat, but you'll probably still get wet, just not as trenched. Personally, I found getting soaked was quite refreshing & even enhanced the experience. When i arrives to Iguazu the tour was fully booked, but thanks to Say Hueque they found a place for me before I left Iguazu. They have a great service, I highly recommend traveling with them.

Fantastic trip, one of the best I have been on. Beautiful country, amazing landscapes, lovely friendly people. Plus we had a fun group and an excellent guide, Marcelo. And we were lucky with the weather too. Yes, it’s expensive but worth it. Spend the extra to do the optional activities to make the most of it. Loved the walking with penguins, the zodiac trip on Rio Serrano and both the big walks. The days are very long but you can always sleep on the bus/back at home! Contrary to previous reviews I thought the hotels were all fine and the breakfasts were great and a good start to each day. The tango show we went to was in a small venue and great. Wish I’d added more time in Buenos Aires before the trip as it’s a lovely city and there’s a lot to see and do there - I will be back.
