Excellent

It was amazing. Lucila was extremely helpful. We went back and forth on the itinerary, they ensured that i was happy, ensured that everything was good to go. Checked in on me the night before my trip started. Even on the trip when i had a booking question. Lucila was able to answer me in just a few hours. They even set up an app for you to follow the route and suggested activities. And I am a very picky person about trip planning - but I would say I'm extremely happy with my experience.

Great!

The trip organized by Mrs. Victoria and her colleagues were like a dream come true. Patagonia is amazing, and so are its people. If you are reading this review, you must already know about the beautiful nature there—the weather, the sky, and the stars. So I will just tell you that the team can and will create a perfect holiday for you, making you feel safe and relaxed every moment of your trip. Their local partners are also very professional, warm, helpful, and polite, taking care of everything one may need. Argentina is not just a holiday destination; connecting with its nature and people can help one become a more complete person—someone who understands the diversity and unity of a country. For me, travelling with them was like travelling with friends you can always rely on. Thank you all so much!

Effortless planning

My husband and I wanted to spend a week in Patagonia but had very little time to research and plan where to go and what to do. Victoria was extremely professional, highly experienced, and brilliant to communicate with from my initial inquiry through the entire planning process. She customized an amazing itinerary for us that suited our time frame and far exceeded our expectations—from the daily experiences, tours, and tour guides to transfers within each city or town and all the finer details. Victoria was available to message and promptly answered all our queries throughout the trip, which made us feel safe, organized, and relaxed enough to enjoy every day. I would definitely use her services again if traveling to South America and highly recommend Victoria.

Salta and Jujuy — Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

Tour Highlights

  • Cerro de los Siete Colores (or the Seven Colors Hills) are nestled just outside of the town of Purmamarca. They are famous for their gorgeous chromatic hues, which are best viewed in the early morning hours.
  • Salta is the oldest and most beautiful town in the region. It is characterized with ornate colonial architecture, cozy cafés and open-air markets selling locally made handicrafts.
  • Cafayate is the principal wine town in north-western Argentina. This quaint getaway offers a wide range of activities, including wine-tasting, hiking or simply soaking up the atmosphere from the charming central square.
  • Salinas Grandes is a vast expanse of salt flat that sits 3,300 meters above ground. Due to its sheer size and blinding color, it makes one of the most awe-inspiring natural sights in the country.

Travel Tips

  • To catch fantastic views of Salta, take the teleferico (cable car) from the Parque San Martin to Cerro San Bernardo. Here, you will find several viewing points and platforms. This is also an ideal place to have a picnic and admire the romantic sunsets.
  • North-western Argentina has the reputation of being one of the best culinary regions in the country. During your visit, make sure to try some of the local specialties; you'll find them served in unpretentious local eateries called comedors.
  • Salta is known for production and sale of leather and textile goods at affordable prices, so if you're looking to treat yourself to a new pair of boots, a bag or a poncho, this town is the place to go.
