A really pleasant trip. Lovely warm weather for November and a good selection of walks with a mix of scenery to enjoy. Aguimes is a lovely village to stay in and the hotel had its own charm and was clearly well cared for by the staff. The hotel in Aldea had more facilities but was a bit more commercial. Our guide was very good, with local knowledge and took us out for some nice local food and lots of Tapas. The driver that took us across the island was excellent as the roads were very windy. Overall, an excellent trip which I would be happy to recommend.

The Hotel on La Gomera was excellent and our guide Ester was brilliant. Flawless organisation, short comfortable mini-bus trips and well chosen walks. Some sections of the hikes were a bit challenging in the wet but Ester was always there to lend help and encouragement. The last night hotel wasn’t great but it was only for a few hours and close to the airport.

First and foremost we had a most wonderful guide, Jessica. She gave us a rundown daily of what to expect ie: mileage, terrain, history of the area, landmarks. She made sure we were well hydrated during the heat wave. Had numerous bathroom breaks as well as nutrition stops. Jessica was able to negotiate and translate with the locals when we needed her in restaurants and hotels. To me Jessica made the entire trip memorable. She is a ray of sunshine.

Fabulous trip, tweaked perfectly by Donal, who knows the area like the back of his hand. The accommodation was great, and having the trip be center based in the one convenient hotel was excellent. In early June, the wildflowers were in profusion, an added bonus to incredible mountain scenery. Uphill parts of walk manageable given a lot of tge mileawas contouring. Highly recommended!

While the weather let us down one day (severe weather warning), Miguel quickly organised a range of activities to keep us all entertained and amused. This is a great trip if you want to do some walking in the sunshine. The walks are varied and take you all over Lanzarote. Pack your swimmers & a trek towel as we stopped at some beautiful beaches and there was time for swimming in the sea. On the non walking day a few of us made the suggested excursion to Graciosa and hired mountain bikes to cycle around the island. I’d recommend this if you have the energy, if not the pool at the apartment complex is also nice 😀. Overall a really good holiday.
