Mohamed Rekaby exceeded our expectation of our trip to Egypt. We were overwhelmed by his knowledge, pride and compassion for his culture, traditions and people.. I journaled most nights to capture the information that he so freely shared with us about the temples, museums, mosque, religion, etc. We have already given your contact information to some family members and friends. We highly recommend this journey to Egypt.

This was a very busy tour that delivered everything that was promised and plenty more! Our tour leader, Abdullah, was absolutely incredible, his knowledge of his country was second to none, he was always willing to answer questions, friendly, approachable and a brilliant sense of humour! Our driver, Mohammed was absolutely excellent too! The tour is well planned out to fit everything in, days are busy and you do need a good pair of walking shoes and plenty of energy for Petra, but having two days there is perfect to be able to see it all. Petra by night was incredible and I highly recommend this. The night in the desert was just amazing, to be in such a place, the 4x4 tour excellent and the opportunity to ride a well cared for camel excellent too. The red sea was lovely, and I recommend the boat trip! And floating on the dead sea surreal. I arrived a day early and had an extra night before the tour and I'd highly recommend this, as flights into Jordan from the UK arrive late and this means that you can have a more relaxed first day. It also gives the opportunity to see more of Amman, I went to the Jordan Museum which was absolutely excellent and also to Rainbow Street. Both places worth seeing and not part of the Tour. Jordan has seen it's visitor numbers drop drastically in the past couple of years due to a war that has never been theres. Tourism has suffered, yet we never saw or heard any trouble or felt unsafe while we were there. It is, and it remains a safe country to visit, the people are very welcoming. Places like Petra are very quiet at the moment, so it's a great time to visit.

The first downfall was not being able to tip prior to the trip. I felt like we were tipping every single day, multiple times a day. I would also recommend that as a traveler you always have small bills on you, as you have to pay to use the restroom - EVEN inside of the museums you have already paid to go into. You have to get a Visa when you enter the country - do not stress! You can easily do this at the airport for $25USD. The trip itself was wonderful. I traveled as a single female and never felt uncomfortable. I enjoyed traveling from the North to South of Egypt. I think that the optional trip to Abu Simbel was nice, but defiantly not worth the money and time spent traveling (by multiple planes). The museums, Nile cruise, home visit were all amazing! Egypt is defiantly a country to see!

Jordan is an extraordinary, beautiful and very safe country to travel . The people are very warm, friendly and helpful. Our tour guide, Abdullah, was amazing, so knowledgeable, witty, kind and generous going over and beyond to make our trip such a success. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. His love of Jordan shone through. The itinerary was perfect very full but we got to see all the main sites. The country has a wonderful richness of ancient sites and history. It’s five hours only from the UK and only two hours ahead so very easy to get to. Do go you will be thrilled Petra is a huge fabulous site, The tour is excellent value and Abdullah brilliant. Thank you Explore..

An excellent and very well organised tour combining all the aspects one could want for a 'bucket list' trip to Egypt. The activities, both the included and optional, were well paced with time to relax as well as soak up the history. All the staff were fabulous, knowledgeable, and supportive.
