USA 5-Day Tours and Trips

I haven’t had so much fun and enjoyment on a vacation as I did during this Collette Tour. I have been telling everyone who asks about how great everything was on this trip. Todd, our Tour manager was phenomenal! He shared so much information and as a former US History teacher it was right up my alley. Mount Rushmore and Ol’ Faithful were my most favorite parts of the tour but there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. The culture, history, and geography of every area we visited was pointed out and explained to help us understand how it all came together. I enjoyed it so much I’m already looking forward to my next adventure!

It was a wonderful trip and highly recommend it. It does involve lots of time on the coach but staying right in the parks made it worth the miles. Our guide an river were awesome.

Cover a lot of ground. Keeps you busy. I like that.

Loved Mackinac Island. Well planned. Very poor service at second Hotel. Waited forever on rooms and customer service was sooooo unsympathetic. Rooms were not that nice either.

Hotel in Fairbanks was not up to Collette or HAL standards. Too crowded for early morning departure and buffet. Food was not refilled and mostly empty. Not enough seating. Room was clean - but sad and tired. Enjoyed the riverboat ride more than I had anticipated. That was great. Our bus driver Peter was amazing on our Denali tour! Cannot remember his name, but from Fairbanks to Denali bus driver was lovely! Really enjoyed the domed train ride!! Loved HAL very much. This trip was magical. Kind of fell in love with Alaska. Katie Johns was an amazing tour guide. Thank you, Collette!

The Alaskan train tour/ride was amazing. All of our tour guides were helpful and patient and knowledgeable. Some of the areas were a little more congested than I would have imagined, but I learned more about Alaska than expected, which is great! Our manager, Katie, is a lovely person, and I was grateful to have her.
