Turkey Beach Trips

Great trip choice if you want a mixture of walking and time for other activities or to just to chill. Relaxed pace. Varied walks taking in a range of scenery. Terrain was mostly rocky and uneven underfoot which was expected. Fantastic countryside walk on Lycian Way -especially as spring flowers were out! Most swimming stops had changing room facilities. Nebil our Guide was excellent, very helpful, informative, warm hearted and good humoured. Kas is a small quaint town- plenty of cafes, eating places with good food. Made a good base for the trip. Plenty of options to fill our day off- could have extended our stay to do more! Hotel was fine but rooms a bit small without much storage space- ok as we were a couple but Would have felt crampt if sharing with a stranger

Fantastic first experience would love to do it again, our tour guide Alpar was absolutely brilliant loaded with streams of useful and surprising snippets of information on traditions and areas of interest delivered with a hint of humour where appropriate. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends and relatives.

A great guide, and interesting itinery. Although the walks were not too challenging, we didnt get to appreciate the beautiful scenery enough as we were watching the path and looking at our feet all the time.

We had a fabulous week exploring the Turkish Turquoise Coast with Explore. The itinerary was varied with wonderful walks along the coast and inland too and the scenery was fantastic. Our tour guide was brilliant - informative, fun and very friendly and made the trip. I can thoroughly recommend this trip!

The hotel was average as there was no cleaning for couples of days, no one clear the rubbish bins and clean the bathroom. The only great thing from the hotel was the free provision of bottles of water. The iternary was good with a variety of walks, but the track along the Lycian Way is very rocky, need to pay attention to walk. I fell once but did not get hurt. The leader was super-good, very funny and patience to let slow walkers to catch up. She was also very keen to introduce different kinds of Turkish food.

This is a great holiday. I've walked the Lycian way a couple of times and love Turkey. The walks were shorter but very interesting every day with a chance to swim most days and fantastic walks in the mountains and forests. Food as always was really good usually vegetarian. We were also taken to small farms and villages and local houses where the meals were fantastic. Hotel was small but comfortable with a pool and amazing breakfasts. Bar and breakfast room had lovely views over the sea towards the greek islands. Nebil the guide was excellent, kind, well informed and judged the pace for a varied group really well. Early October the weather was usually perfect to walk and warm. However we had one day of heavy rain so take a waterproof.
