Turkey 16-Day Tours and Trips

I learned a lot about Turkish history- and it made me want to learn even more. Even though the trip was 2 weeks it made me wish it was another 2 weeks to explore more.

'Turkey In Depth' was an excellent tour. I was particularly impressed with the Tour guide, Oz, who went out of his way to ensure that we all had a memorable time. We had two tour members with personal medical conditions that arose during the tour and Oz was very sensitive to their needs, discreetly arranging hospital visits for them while ensuring the tour progress was unaffected. His knowledge of the various places we visited was excellent and his sense of humour was delightful. All members of the tour were seasoned travellers and they were all very friendly and interesting people. We had a very good time together. The places visited were fascinating and the hotels were generally of a good standard. There is a large amount of bus travel between the sites visited, which potential travellers should bear in mind, but the bus we travelled in was very comfortable. The tour is definitely 'Full On' as described. A reasonable level of fitness is necessary as there is a lot of walking around ancient sites with uneven, often slippery paths as well as lots of steps. Overall, this was an excellent tour that gave great insight into this wonderful country and its ancient history. I recommend it highly as it exceeded my expectations.

This is an interesting journey, taking in some fabulous venues, and some interesting experiences. The trip involves long hours by coach, but this is the only way to cover the key locations around Turkey. There were many highlights during the trip starting in Istanbul, and working our way around the major cities and sites.

I have recently gotten back from a 15 day tour of Turkey. It was an amazing trip but was busy to include everything on the itinerary. I’m glad it included as much as it did which is why I booked with exodus but it would have been good for the trip to be longer so that could see what was on the itinerary in more of a leisurely pace and other attractions Turkey has to offer.

The trip was awesome. I was able to get insight into the history of both countries. The variety of restaurants was great, gave me a chance to try out foods from street type vendors to high end restaurants. The guides were amazing. And most of all I love the small size group. Makes one feel like they are travelling with friends !! Job well done

An excellent holiday exploring a country with a great depth of historical and cultural sites. The day visiting the 1915 Gallipoli battlefields was fascinating and our day there was the only one where we did not visit an UNESCO World Heritage site.
