Our tour included the visit of the ancient capitals of the country, the most important temples and also focused on the current culture and society. There is no doubt in my mind that the company CharlieTheTraveler made the perfect itinerary showing the best Sri Lanka has to see and do. We could not have done the tour better ourselves. The tour was organized, time-efficient and exciting. We group members were given VIP treatment the whole way through. Our tour guide went well beyond my expectations just to make us feel happy and safe.

Itinerary was great and this was the main reason we chose this trip and Sri Lanka has fantastic sites and culture to experience - unfortunately we counted on having an appropriate guide and tour director who could assist with making the most of the experience - unfortunately our guide was not fluent in English, could not answer questions or explain the sites, culture and history in any meaningful way and we were forced to communicate critical aspects of the itinerary with him on whatsap, initiated by us not the tour director - the worst tour director I have had in nearly 45 years of travel and over 50 tours

Our trip with CharlieTheTraveler was memorable. We were provided with a variety of top-notch activities. They were all worthwhile. Our tour guide understands his work well. We enjoyed watching wildlife as well as visiting tea plantations and many other must-see places. Our tour guide really knows Sri Lanka inside and out. I will do another tour with CharlieTheTraveler for my next vacation. The company gained my respect and trust.

Trip of a lifetime with Kalana. Just home (we were a group of 4 friends, all girls in our mid-20s) from the most amazing 9 day trip organized perfectly by Atkien Spence Travel. Some of the highlights of the trip included amazing views in Sigiriya, a jeep safari (where we saw elephants and leopards) and visiting a turtle hatchery. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country, and the people are so nice, but it was our tour guide, Kalana, who made the trip so memorable! We have made a friend for life and cannot recommend Kalana enough!
