Greece Bicycle Trips

Just recently completed the Ionian bike boat trip. Can’t fault the trip, we had some logistic issues due to weather and the guides Alex and Katerina handled the complexities well and came up with satisfactory alternatives. The guides were very personable and very caring, we had one member who could not cycle due to an injury sustained a few days before joining and they went out of their way to accommodate her participation in visits to features throughout the trip. The food was excellent and the crew did an amazing job catering for our needs. We were not on e-bikes and found it quite hard going, as most rides required long uphill ascents, if I had my time again I would have selected an e-bike, even though I managed the rides it took away from my enjoyment as in my opinion it was very extreme. Both guides were on e-bikes which probably says a lot for the extreme nature of the climbs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure aboard the Thalassa. The crew was stellar, the food was amazing and fresh, the seas were smooth so we had no issues with motion sickness. The ship was beautiful and clean. The only issue we encountered was the fumes from the engine room, since our cabin was adjacent to it. It was the strongest on the first night after being in port.

This trip was amazing. The entire crew was very welcoming and fun to be with. Our guides, Chryssa and Deonithis were delightful and so knowledgeable. They made everything exciting. And the food was amazing! Thanks for a great trip!

We had a marvellous time and our guides, Dionysis and MaryLou, made the trip - the crew worked really hard too. Great relaxed cycling, fabulous bikes (and batteries and great support when needed from the guides ref maintenance). A stunning new area for us to experience and explore! Thanks to our guides for their enthusiasm, knowledge and sheer energy to pull our lovely group together and all their efforts to entertain us. It's been a wonderful opportunity to see the Greek Islands and we thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the extra excursion to make up for missing our last day's cycling due to high winds when we returned to Athens not Porous! I loved the Corinth Canal, Mycenae and Nafplio - an extra bonus! Would highly recommend!

I do not often review my trips but I have to say from landing in Greece to the drop off leaving Greece I cannot say enough how great our trip was. Everyone and I mean everyone could not have done more to make our trip better. Thanks for making our Greek island bike tour so fantastic. BTW, the schooner was a magnificent ship. Our berth was better than one could hope for. The guides and crew really made this trip fantastic and also made us feel like we were the only ones they cared about.

Great facilities, great boat, good bikes, wonderful islands, and moorings. Plenty of swim times - all staff very helpful and inclusive. Like minded fellow travellers, incredible chef and his food was way too wonderful.
