Finland 5-Day Tours and Trips

What an amazing trip! A good balance between winter activities and down time. Managed to use the hotel sauna every afternoon which was great and super relaxing. The weather was perfect and we saw the spectacular Northern Lights 3 nights out of 5. When we didn’t see them, we just didn’t go out to look for them :) The food in Finland is delicious and the local guides, restaurant and hotel staff are very helpful, kind and caring. Highly recommend this trip! Thank you, Explore, for organizing such a fab adventure!

It was a wonderful experience. The only negative part was that there were only 5 of us who spoke English. Even though we had individual tour guides who gave a tour in English, overall, I believe we missed out on some cultural information.

If you want to be immersed in the beautiful Finnish wilderness and escape the frenetic pace of modern life, this is the trip for you. 5 days filled with easy hiking, rafting, husky walks and bear watching. There is also plenty of down time just to soak up the tranquility, take a sauna or take a dip in the lake.Basecamp Oulanka is the prefect place to recharge your batteries.

Our tour guide ROCIO, has been a champion and a true guide for the group. She held her calm no matter what and truly meant that our problems are hers - EXCELLENT GUIDE The way she took the initiative to pull and arrange all luggage from one bus to the other at Naantali, Finland on 14th September, was Unbelievable. She did not end tension amongst the group, instead did all by herself while we enjoyed our time there. Thank you Europamundo for having such beautiful soul on board. SEE YOU soon :

A very enjoyable short trip. The hotel was warm and comfortable with friendly helpful staff. The activities were fun and informative. I particularly enjoyed spending time with the Reindeer Herders and the Husky Experience was great fun. You don't get to drive a dog team everyday! The tour was well run and organised.

Although the bear hide was the lure for us on this trip, the other activities of walking with huskies, rideing the river and walking the forests all made this a brilliant short break. Long days meant we had good evenings watching the bears and time to do things during the day as well. Oulanka base camp was a great venue.
