An excellent trip that covered all the 'must sees' in Egypt. The Nile cruise was a perfect way to spend a few days with a good mix of exploration and relaxation. Brilliant tour guide who was knowledgeable and made facts interesting and digestible. Have already recommended this trip to friends.

was an excellent trip manager! He was very enthusiastic and passionate about explaining the egyptian history. My favourite part of the trip is definitely the Pyramids! Ticked off on my bucket list! But also the cruise along the Nile was also incredible, we were spoilt with 3 days of buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Red Sea cruise experience was also the highlight, snorkelling the salty Red Sea was so fun. Massive shoutout to who looked after us in this entire trip, some of us left our phones and passports by accident, and he managed to help us resolve it. was like a father to us, which must have been exhausting for him to look after a bunch of 18-35 year old kidults!! I overall enjoy this trip as much as first Contiki experience, have met lots of friends as an introvert on this trip, and I would likely join more Contikis in the future!

Great trip led by a wonderful leader who was extremely knowledgeable and patient. It is action packed and full on, so be prepared for that. We got to visit the brand new Grand Museum which was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed our time visiting all of the pyramids, museums, and cruising down the Nile River, as well as the temples and tombs. This trip had been on my husband’s bucket list for 30 years, so he was delighted by each and every visit. The ballon ride was one of my favorite add ons. Highly recommend!

The trip was amazing, the trip manager was excellent. He had such passion and years of experience, and extremely knowledgeable. Add ons were reasonable and very enjoyable, I recommend doing them all! Accommodation was great too, apart from the overnight train. I would definitely recommend doing this trip!

Our tour leader Mohammed Ali is very knowledgeable, passionate, warm, and fun. I learned so much from him about Egypt and really enjoyed his stories. He has great personal skills. I really liked him to tell us what we would do and how long we would be out each time when we got off the bus so we would bring enough water and snacks. He always checked our wellbeing. He took many nice pictures for us. He took very good care of us. It was a memorable trip.

This is a great and varied trip to visit some of the main sights of Egypt. There is a lot packed into 10 days. The optional trips of Abu Simbel, saqqara and dinner in a Nubian village were worthwhile and enjoyable. The overnight train was an experience and the Nile Cruise was relaxing. The visit to Kom Ombo temple was not fun and much too rushed and crowded as all the cruise ships arrived at the same time. The guide Amr was very good with an amazing knowledge of Egyptian history that they he enjoyed sharing with us. He worked hard to make sure everyone could do the things they wanted to.
