Reviews of our Argentina Tours for April
Feedback from guests who toured Argentina during April.
Top notch service from this company which I chose for our Argentina trip because they're based in Buenos Aires and have a focus on South America. Clara Gonzalez crafted an experience perfectly in line with our request and did so quickly and accurately. Antonella Pascarelli provided us with the expert support we needed before and during the trip. She informed us of needed documentation, answered detailed questions about hotels and restaurants, handled all hotel stays accurately and made dinner reservations at our choice of restaurants. Land transfers were crucial to our moving about the country and the app included necessary information about that. The guides (Diana in Buenos Aires; Shoam in El Chalten) were both well informed, efficient and personable. I'm glad Antonella knew which companies with whom to work. When we were in country, I received daily emails from Antonella checking in on how things were going and making sure we were on track with the next phase of the trip. I would like to return to South America and I will most certainly try to work with with them.
We had a fantastic experience working with Florencia and Mery from the team! From the very beginning, they were true partners in helping us craft an itinerary that felt personalized and well-balanced. Communication throughout the planning process (and during the trip itself) was also excellent. They were always responsive and proactive, and we especially appreciated the valuable updates they provided while we were traveling. For example, when a transportation strike unexpectedly happened during our trip, they stepped in to help us navigate the situation and adjust our plans smoothly. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, well-supported travel planning!
We absolutely loved our trip to El Calafate Patagonia. It was fantastic in every way we are so grateful for Joaquina and her team for making it such a smooth and unforgettable experience from planning to execution. Everything was seamless. One of the highlights was being able to visit our son who is studying abroad for the semester and taking him to experience the incredible Patagonia steps and glaciers. We fell in love with Argentina and can’t wait to come back. Thank you again for everything. It was a trip we will treasure forever
Milagros and Marcela from SayHueque helped me plan a fantastic 10-day Essential Of Patagonia trip (mostly Argentina and 1 leg in Chile) and made the trip very smooth and easy to customize based on my preferences. For first-timers to the region, i would highly-recommend utilizing them as they are very knowledgeable and responsive. The Laguna de los Tres, Perito Moreno glacier, and the Torres del Paine Mirador hikes were sublime and unforgettable!! I would opt for "hard" hikes if possible to see the most, and try it out at least, and if not you can always tell your guide that it is too difficult and they will modify the path during the trek.

This was a spectacular trip. There were so many wow moments, it's hard to pick out the highlights. There were stunning landscapes throughout: the colourful hills and villages of Argentina, the vineyards with cacti dotted throughout, the otherworldly Bolivian Altiplano, the amazing reflections in the water covered salt flats, and the Moon and Mars valleys in Chile. Although the trip is mainly focused on the landscapes, there were some nice cultural and wildlife experiences. I enjoyed the Pena show and the visit to a Bolivian local market. We saw lots of flamingos, vicuna and llama, and saw some charming vizcacha close up. This trip cost more than I would normally spend but I think it was totally worth it. Almost all activities are included and many of the included meals had three courses (not to mention the five course meal at the vineyard with wine pairing!). We didn't really pay for water and soft drinks and there was a surprising amount of alcohol included beyond the wine tasting day. Every sunset and some lunches were accompanied by a tipple. Hotels were all good, with the salt hotel a highlight. Transport was comfortable, although I suggest moving seats should be enforced so it's not always the same people in the best seats at the front. Logistics were seemless and our guide Diego was fantastic. He really made sure we were all looked after. Local guides and drivers were also great, in particular Yasmin and Danny in Argentina. Please make sure you pay into the tip kitty. Some people didn't and it meant that those working hard and providing essential services got less than normal. Remember that you are extremely privileged to go on such an amazing trip and that tips go a long way for people who do not have those same opportunities as us. Bolivia in particular was noticeably poorer. Lastly, we were all okay with the altitude, whether we had medication for it or not. Drinking water, coca leaves or candy and limiting alcohol helps. All in all, I highly recommend this trip.
