Itinerary

Experience the cultural heart of Southeast Asia on the 'Vietnam & Cambodia Encounters' tour—a comprehensive 16-day journey that takes you from Hanoi’s bustling streets to the ancient temples of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. This guided small group trip is crafted for travelers seeking a deep dive into both nations’ iconic highlights and authentic local life.

The adventure begins in Vietnam, exploring Hanoi’s street food and colonial architecture before cruising Halong Bay’s limestone islands aboard a traditional junk. Travel by sleeper train to Hue, then relax in the lantern-lit charm of Hoi An, famed for its crafts and cuisine. A vintage Vespa tour in Ho Chi Minh City adds a quirky twist before you venture into the Mekong Delta for a homestay with local fishermen, learning to catch and cook traditional dishes.

From Ho Chi Minh City, cross into Cambodia for a sobering tour of Phnom Penh’s Killing Fields and Royal Palace. Journey north to the Kulen Mountains for an overnight homestay, then explore the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm, ending with a lively street food walk through Siem Reap’s Pub Street.

The USP here is the blend of hands-on cultural experiences—homestays, food tours, and artisan workshops—combined with classic sights, all handled with seamless logistics. Meals, accommodation, and transport are included, making this an immersive tour package for those eager to connect with Southeast Asia’s spirit and history.

The process from finding the tour we wanted to take to getting set up for the tour was an easy process. The other reviews we saw gave us the security of using their website to book our trip. The only item we missed which would have given a 5* was the trip did not include see the Alps up close or a train trip. Well maybe next time there may be one and we would definitely take that trip.
