Overview

Departing from San Pedro de Atacama, at the agreed time, to head towards the Heart of the Desert. The fresh, clean air will fill us with energy as we advance until we reach to our destination in the Puritama Canyon and Guatin.
This experience combines natural beauty, hot springs and the ancestral culture of the local communities.
We will begin our trekking by immersing ourselves in these landscapes so impressive as well as diverse. We will skirt the canyon along a winding road the bank of the stream, we can see the high rock walls until we reach a series of natural hot spring pools warm and revitalizing.
We will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves and cool off in these natural pools, a dip in these hot springs in order to continue With our adventure, we recommend that you wear your swimsuit under your clothes now. There are no bathrooms or dressing rooms in the place.
After enjoying of these waters and replenish our energy, we will continue our trekking towards Guatin, a small community located in the Chilean highlands. During the journey, we will be able to appreciate the panoramic views of the mountainous landscape and the rock formations unique to the region.
At Guatin we will immerse ourselves in the local culture and the hospitality of the community. Here we will have the opportunity to meet the local inhabitants and learn about their ancestral traditions. The visit to Guatin will allow us to experience life in the highlands and better understand the way how these communities have thrived in such a challenging environment for centuries.

The booking porocess was easy, and customer service was responsive. I contacted 4 companies about the tour I was interested in. Two of the companies I contacted didn't answer me at all. One of them was basically a chatbot that said "do it yourself." Only bookmundi had human agents to help.
