This 8-day guided trip is a unique opportunity for curious travelers to visit two of the most beautiful countries in Eastern Europe: Romania and Bulgaria. Bulgaria is famous for its ancient towns such as Plovdiv and Veliko Tarnovo, rose oil production and for the Orthodox Rila Monastery. Its neighbouring country, Romania, is famed for untouched traditions, an enchanting history, and fairytale-like landscapes. Explore all of these! You will also have the opportunity to discover two former award-winning European cultural capitals, Plovdiv (2019) and Sibiu (2007), which was also the 2019 European Gastronomy Region. day 1Arrival - Bucharest

Welcome to Bucharest! Our Romanian guide will greet you at the airport in Otopeni.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of one the most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities in Europe, which is also the 6th largest capital city in the European Union. Admire University Square, Roman Square, Constitution Square and the Palace of Parliament (the second largest administrative building in the World after the Pentagon), and the Victory Square and palace. Pass by the Arch of Triumph, driving on Kissellef Street.
Check-in and welcome dinner at local restaurant.
