Vienna to Tirana is a 14–day tour that takes you on a journey to discover the essential cultural and historical sites of Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, and Kosovo. Explore the enchanting allure of Budapest–the Queen of Danube, and be captivated by the remarkable architecture of Subotica. Wander through the storied streets of UNESCO heritage sites of Mostar, Kotor, and Prizren. This intimate small-group tour will immerse you in the Central European gems lining the Danube River, as well as the treasures of the Balkans. This tour of Europe and Balkan countries combine some of the most charming capitals, once part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, with the diversity and the uniqueness of the Balkans.

day 1Pickup in Vienna – Rust – Bratislava (Slovakia)
Our tour leader will come and pick you up at your hotel in Vienna (Austria) and drive towards Rust in the region Burgenland, known as a wine region of Austria. While we drive through the hilly vineyards, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the Lake Neusiedl, part of UNESCO world heritage. Enjoy a scenic drive before reaching Rust, famous for its well-preserved historic center, charming streets, and traditional Austrian architecture. Then, we will walk through the picturesque old town with colorful houses decorated with flower boxes, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
We will also visit one of the small shops, where you can shop for souvenirs and decorations made of natural materials such as tartar or wood form the wine barrel. Enjoy some free time to visit the vineyards overlooking the lake where you can enjoy your meal and sample some of the region's best wines. After our visit to Rust, we will drive by the lake and head towards Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Overnight in Bratislava.
