After breakfast, you’ll cross the Friendship Bridge, a 25-kilometer link connecting Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, and proceed through the border procedures. Bahrain, a small but historically significant country covering 765 square kilometers and home to just under two million people, awaits us. Upon arrival in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, you’ll begin your tour of this fascinating country. Your first stop will be the historic Muharraq neighborhood, where you’ll wander through pedestrian alleys and admire some of the most beautiful historical buildings, including royal residences and well-preserved houses once owned by wealthy pearl merchants. Yo’ll then drive around the Corniche and visit Beit Al Quran, the museum dedicated to the Quran, the holy book of Islam. Next, you’ll explore the National Museum of Bahrain, a fantastic place to learn about the country’s art, ethnography, traditions, and its historical significance. You’ll have free time afterward to enjoy lunch at the mall's food court, where you can choose from a variety of dining options. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the impressive Al-Fateh Mosque, the largest mosque in Bahrain. Afterward, we’ll travel to Qalat al-Bahrain, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This impressive seaside fortress has been inhabited for 4,000 years, though the current castle was built by the Portuguese. You’ll continue our journey into one of the world’s most important oil production areas, stopping near the first oil extraction well in Bahrain. You’ll also visit the Tree of Life, a symbol of resilience, standing in the desert for over 500 years. After returning to Manama, you’ll have some free time to relax. Later, you’ll take a walk through the Manama souq, where we’ll experience its vibrant atmosphere. You’ll also visit Little India, a neighborhood that preserves its life and traditions, complete with the Krishna Temple and many small Indian restaurants, reflecting the significant Indian population in Bahrain, which exceeds 300,000 people.
