Sarnath contains the most impressive remains, including the Dharmarajika, Chaukhandi, and Dhamek stupas, as well as a modern temple. There are also the remains of a monastery and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
