Itinerary
On this stunning 6-day tour, you'll visit Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, also known as the "Golden Triangle" of India. This is a perfect tour for families, couples, and those looking for an introduction to some of the best sites in India.
Delhi, the country's capital, is a bustling but ancient, historically-steeped city, Agra is a region that symbolizes Mughal splendor, and Jaipur is a land of pageantry and color. Because of their rich cultural and historical heritage these three cities, so different yet interlinked, offer a peek into India's true nature.
The tour provides private car sightseeing to all the highlights in old Delhi, new Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and offers accommodation at very high standard 3-star hotels, which include breakfast. This tour also includes services such as a local tour guide and assistance with arrival and departure. We look forward to showing you our India, and our Golden Triangle. Don't miss out on this adventure!
day 1 - Arrive in Delhi
Our representative will meet you upon arrival at Delhi airport or railway station to pick you up and bring you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to enjoy.
day 2 - Delhi sightseeing tour
Visit old Delhi this morning after breakfast. The Raj Ghat, Red Fort, and Jama Masjid are some important places we will see, as well as Chandni Chowk, the spice market, and others.
Afterward, we'll begin the New Delhi tour. The Qutub Minar, India's highest stone tower, the majestic India Gate, the Rastrapathi Bhawan, the Laxmi Narayan Temple, the Lotus Temple, and the newly constructed Akshardham Temple are of great importance and on the must-see list.
day 3 - Delhi - Agra
Depart to Agra by road after breakfast. The drive is about 4 hours. Check-in to the hotel of your choosing upon arrival in Agra.
In the afternoon, we'll have a sightseeing tour of the city of Agra that includes the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Your visit to the Taj Mahal is definitely a highlight of your trip.
In the evening, enjoy a night out in Agra.
day 4 - Agra - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to Jaipur, the fabled desert "pink city" named after a former Jaipur maharaja. This is the only city in the world that symbolizes the universe's nine divisions by subdividing it into nine rectangular sectors. The palaces and forts of the past that witnessed the royal processions and splendors are now living monuments.
En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" that was the exiled capital of Mughal emperor Akbar, founded in 1569 and abandoned when it failed to supply water.
day 5 - Jaipur sightseeing tour
This morning after breakfast, visit the Amber Fort, built in the 16th century and enjoy an elephant ride. Drive past the Hawa Mahal-a Wind Palace.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the city palace and museum and walk to an astronomical observatory adjacent to Jantar Mantar. The remainder of the time is spent at your leisure.
Stay overnight at Jaipur Hotel.
day 6 - Jaipur - Delhi & departure
After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, check-out this morning, and today you will be transferred to Jaipur or Delhi airport/railway station as per flight booking for your onward journey. Return home with memories of India to last a lifetime!
