My name is Lanto and I am the proud owner of Madagascar Tropic Voyage. It was against the odds that I became a tour guide and then the owner of a successful company. When I was a child, Madagascar was (and still is!) very rural and undeveloped, and it seemed most likely that I would be a country farmer with no access to education. My motivation to succeed and be able to provide for my family, combined with my passion for this beautiful country, inspired me to get involved in tourism, and my career grew from there.
I love being able to share my knowledge while also growing and learning new things. My goal is and has always been to provide unique service with passionate people while treating everybody respectfully and giving them opportunities that I could not have when I was growing up.

Lanto's best travel experience
Diving in the blue turquoise waters on the paradise island of Nosy Be was a really unforgettable experience. I was able to see a very diverse underwater life that was still untouched, including whale shark sightings. I also experienced my first time playing golf in Nosy Be, which was surely different from underwater but also very relaxing and interesting. But I still need to work on my golf game...
