It was a splendid introductory trip. The guides in each city were very good; the the cities themselves were fascinating. We chose our own restaurants which was easy. The museums were quite spectacular, and if you like art Botelo is a master of painting and sculpture. I must say I was confused about the preparatory organization, since it all seemed to be done on-line; and did not come together in a package for us until a few days before we arrived, but in the end the logistics were excellent. The cars and guides arrived on time at every stop, and the hotels were very good. So all in all, well done.

Excellent trip by bus that even exceeded our expectation with a very well planned itinerary! This bus tour allowed us to visit 5 European countries and the wonderful locations and sightseeings there just in 10 days! We had enough time to admire the nature, the history, the culture and taste the local cuisine. We had a Fantastic experience with Europamundo on this trip. He constantly went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure we were having a great time. He was kind, patient, and has a real passion for what he does. Also has a great sense of humor. This was the first trip for my husband and me with Explore, or any organised tour group, and we really enjoyed it. Explore were recommended to us by a friend and we’re looking forward to using them again. The countryside, towns and villages where we walked and visited were lovely and the background provided by our excellent guide Gennaro added loads of interest. The itinerary was well paced and impressively varied. I struggled a bit with the sheer number of steps on the day we visited Capri (this walk was graded as leisurely!) and was concerned that later walks (graded as more challenging) would be beyond me. In the event they were fine - I found them slightly easier. We liked the hotel with its great view from our window and from the terrace. Our room had a shower only though I think some may have had a bath. The staff were unfailingly helpful and I especially appreciated the efforts they made to accommodate my unfondness for seafood. Our expert guide Gennaro was key to the success of the holiday. He looked after us with great care and thoughtfulness and had a concern for his group that went beyond professionalism. His enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge were impressive and he had clearly planned his talks carefully so that they would be interesting and not too long, easy to grasp, and would build on what he’d told us previously. A great holiday for anyone who enjoys walking.

This is a fabulous trip if you love hiking and being in nature. In the whole week we only encountered one other person on the trails, so lovely. The terrain was varied with some longer ascents and descents but our efforts were rewarded with lovely views. Although there were 14 of us in my group we were all of a similar pace so the walks were very enjoyable. The accommodation was of a good standard and it was so lovely to eat traditional Bulgarian and local speciality dishes everyday. There was plenty and the choice of desserts every night was a real highlight. I highly recommend this trip. Go ahead and book it. You will not regret it!

Maybe consider explicit information about distances being driven on the lengthier components of the tour journey. Perhaps consider the proportion of ‘optional activities’ that fill the tour days and evenings. (ie percentage of optional activities is disproportional to tour organised ones). Not transparent enough in relation to additional cost to participants or total time impact on tour days. Tour should be seen as a full tour not bus trip plus optional activities. The tour cost is already significant and it seems that the tour should provide all activities that fill the tour times. A proportion of time should remain available for folks to choose to take. Some activities / events are not significant enough e.g. momentary viewing in a day of long travel and not many other significant activities / attractions.

Amazing, something for everyone, Our group of 4 included a 15yo, 22yo, 48yo and 72yo. Everyone had a wonderful time! Each day offered new and different experiences.Very well planned to allow us to see as much as possible in the time we had in each location. Our tour director and local experts were very knowledgeable and engaging. Our driver was outstanding, helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait to travel with Trafalgar again!

Everything was amazing, some activities we shuffled around the accommodate rain and being able to go to a festival. There was a little bit of a miscommunication with flight Center telling us we could pay for the optional extras on the trip (and did not need to book them in advance). Tsu was an amazing tour guide and fit in really well with all nine of us Aussies.

Bike and Sail Croatia exceeded our expectations. From checking in on day one to leaving on day eight, everything went smoothly. Even adverse wind conditions were handled by the crew, who altered the itinerary on the go to make it all happen. Had a fantastic time on our bike and barge tour. The barge was fitted out well, the quality of the bikes and the organisation of the daily trips were really well presented and planned out.
