Fantastic tour, very fast paced. Changes to itinerary were communicated and made up for well. Excellent tour guide. Communication during transfers was poor.
On arrival and seeing canoes i thought what have i let myself in for, but after a short introduction and 1st paddle all went well. The holiday was above all expectations, with helpful and friendly guides nothing was to much trouble. Would recomend this holiday to anyone for the back to nature adventure.
During July 2019 I visited the Maldives as a solo traveler. The Island Hopper tour was perfect for my intent to experience the real flavor/culture/people of the country and not the artificial environment of resorts. I arrived and was met by Shaffaf who was the perfect guide/host to hotels, ferries, experiences across 5 islands. I love Maldive island life--even more so after the busy arrival city of Male. I especially love the FREEDOM to set my own itinerary on each island after local representatives warmly welcomed me at each island ferry and presented the options of their island. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, visiting the homes of locals, beach time and just sharing hours of lazy conversation with the locals was priceless. After returning to the USA, my heart is still in The Maldives!!
Great trip, wonderful group and marvelous guides. Be prepared for early mornings and long drives but the pace of the trip is about right with plenty to see and do with "down time" when you need it.
The Georgian adventures trip was a wonderful introduction to Georgia and the way of living. Not to forget the beautiful landscape and exhiting cities. The trip was a good mix of urban and rural areas, with enough time to get the feel of every place. Well run, and not a dull moment. The group since was perfect, and the different ways of travel a good way to see the beauty of the country.
SUMMER TOUR: From breathtaking Bergen (the gateway to the Fjords) - to the picturesque Balestrand. Take a ride on the famous Flam to Oslo railway passing dramatic scenery and huge waterfalls before arriving in the captivating capital of Oslo. Discover Norway's magnificent fjords in one glorious and unforgettable week.
I enjoyed this holiday so much. The itinerary was very well balanced with a host of different activities and experiences. It was good to spend at least two nights in each location and have time to appreciate where we were staying. We have been on quite a few Exodus trips before, but this was one of the best. Some of the accommodation was very good indeed, notably the Martin House guest lodge in De Rust and the apartments in Hermanus.
Get to know a land of natural beauty and rare wildlife on this Borneo adventure through Sabah. With its collection of unique animals, ancient traditions, tribal villages, rescued orangutans and scenic views, Sabah has something for everyone. You’ll experience it all over 11 days in Borneo – climbing Mt Kinabalu at sunrise, watching sea turtles lay their eggs with an expert local ranger by your side and sharing laughs with your local hosts in a remote village. Visit conservation sanctuaries, search for local wildlife at different times of day and night along the Kinabatangan River (including pygmy elephants if you’re lucky) and explore the wilderness of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kinabalu National Park.
This trip was memorable for so many reasons not the least because of the warm welcome the group received from our local Saudi guides and by the families that we encountered. The landscape was much more varied than I expected; desert, mountains, oceans, camels, ancient rocks and caves revealing historic art as well as culture in the form of mosques, museums and sculptures in the cities. The temperature (in early May) was not oppressive, as humidity is low and there is ample opportunity to seek shade. We were the first Exodus group to embark on this trip. The visit changed many of my preconceptions of life in Saudi Arabia and, because of the genuinely warm welcome and an increasing understanding of the culture, it felt natural to dress modestly and enjoy fruit juices instead of wine. I left the country feeling that I had been among friends and would therefore not hesitate to recommend it to others.
Natallie was an amazing lead, she was wonderful during the entire journey, the hotels that we stayed at were nice as well. Overall a very good experience.
