My experience was unforgettable and I made memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. To step away from my part of the world and immerse myself in the African bush, cooking dinner, sitting around the fire, camping, sharing stories, and observing the wildlife was recharging, healing, and most of all- transformative. This trip not only met but exceeded my expectations and it was an amazing introduction to Southern Africa. I felt sad to be leaving the group in Windhoek as they continued on to Victoria Falls, but I also felt energized and more interested than ever in planning another trip and exploring more of the region in the years to come.
