This trip was excellent. The itinerary was well thought out. I could not have imagined that Trafalgar had done such a unique job……. Special mention to the Tour Director Herman Rojas. He was a great part of what made this trip so good. He is a asset to Trafalgar.
We had a fantastic experience working with Florencia and Mery from the team! From the very beginning, they were true partners in helping us craft an itinerary that felt personalized and well-balanced.
Communication throughout the planning process (and during the trip itself) was also excellent. They were always responsive and proactive, and we especially appreciated the valuable updates they provided while we were traveling. For example, when a transportation strike unexpectedly happened during our trip, they stepped in to help us navigate the situation and adjust our plans smoothly.
Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, well-supported travel planning!

Venture from Andean peaks to the Amazon’s edge on the "Ecuador Highlands" tour, a 9-day national parks trip for intrepid explorers. Starting and ending in Quito, you’ll hike in Cotopaxi National Park, canoe to a riverside eco-lodge, and trek through the Amazon guided by Indigenous experts. A homestay with a local family offers cultural immersion, including a Pachamanca feast and hands-on language practice. This moderate-activity tour is ideal for travelers who crave both adventure and meaningful connections. The tour’s standout feature? A rare combination of highland and rainforest experiences, topped with genuine local interaction.
Experience Rio de Janeiro’s iconic sights from a new angle with the Jeep Tour Corcovado, Tijuca Rain Forest, and Santa Teresa. Start by delving into the charming streets of Santa Teresa before heading into the lush Tijuca National Park. Ascend Corcovado Hill to visit Christ the Redeemer, where panoramic city views await. The use of a specially equipped jeep enhances the journey, allowing for a more immersive and comfortable exploration of the city’s diverse landscapes. What makes this tour stand out is the adventure of off-road travel combined with iconic sightseeing, creating a memorable way to see Rio’s top attractions.
Marcelo was a very good tour director. He took care of us in two ways: getting my wife to a doctor with a throat infection and staying up with me late to watch an NFL playoff game on his tablet.
El Calafate/Perito Moreno the clear standout.
Better to cut short time in Puerto Natales by one day and give us a day in Santiago instead. Too much lower interest filler in Puerto Natales (baby horses, cave, Rupestre). Keep Torres del Paine and boat to Serrano glacier and sheep farm visit.
