Discover the real Guatemala, immersing yourself in Maya culture and exploring tropical landscapes. Guided by an expert tour leader, you’ll explore the colonial streets of Antigua, summit the active Pacaya volcano, cruise Lake Atitlán and enjoy an unforgettable sunrise trip to the Maya ruins of Tikal. But it’s the countless interactions – meeting hand-weaving artisans, bartering for textiles in Chichicastenango market and witnessing rural life in Almolonga and Zunil – that will truly reveal authentic Guatemala.
Needs to include time a Seattle Center for Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens and other museums. Most famous sites in the town and we had to spend a lot of extra money for a day there
Absolutely wonderful experience. Travel Director and Driver were top notch. Victoria is lovely and the Canadian Rockies are indeed spectacular. Nice group of people from around the world, everyone got along and had a great time. Some were worried about visiting Jasper after the fires last year but despite the widespread forest damage, it was still a highlight of the trip, especially the visit to Maligne Lake (with the boat ride and outstanding lunch at the historic lodge). Would absolutely recommend this trip.
With a tapestry of vibrantly coloured leaves at every turn, New England in the autumn is a sight to behold. On this eight-day guided women-only tour, explore Boston, one of the oldest cities in the U.S., walking part of the red-brick Freedom Trail and seeing the hall that housed the country’s first-ever town meeting. Marvel at the bronzing leaves of Vermont’s trees as you travel to Stowe and visit the women-owned and -managed Bread and Butter Farm. In Montpelier, delight in a visit to a maple syrup farm where you can taste the sweet golden liquid tapped straight from the trees. Ascend a gondola at Loon Mountain Resort into New Hampshire’s White Mountains and join a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience for an insightful talk by a woman who is an expert on the North Woods' wildlife and ecology. With your small group of like-minded travellers, celebrate your trip with a decadent lobster dinner.
The Miami to Dallas Trip is well worth it, you'll have fun no matter what. This trip is part of a moduled trip that has a much longer adventure, this particular trip is the first half of a much longer adventure which I'd suggest on taking if you are able to take it.
Contiki did a great job on curating a perfect iterinary and planned dinners and the Trip leader I had was amazing and really made sure to go that extra mile along with the Driver who was more than happy on driving our group around.
I will highly advise on doing all the free time add-ons and working with your tour guide on coordinating with your group on spontaneous adventures too like rodeos and unplanned adventures.
You'll make friends and for sure you'll have a great adventure!
The trip was fantastic in showing the highlights of the US south and our tour manager was fantastic! She had amazing knowledge and knew all the best places to recommend, which helped to make the trip special!

This fusion of history has led to a unique culture, encompassing the art of Frida Kahlo and the delicious cuisine of Oaxaca. See it all on a journey from Mexico City to Chichén Itzá, one of the New Wonders of the World. This extra-special adventure, which is one day longer than the standard trip, spends a day celebrating the Day of the Dead, witnessing the traditions and visiting the Chamulan village of Romerillo for an authentic experience of the festivities.
