This trip combines hiking and exploring the Red Rose City of Petra and the stark desert environment of Wadi Rum, and two days cycling the Jordan Bike Trail. A major highlight is ascending Jabal Umm Ad-Dami, the highest peak in Jordan, where no technical climbing experience is required, but a keen sense of adventure to undertake the requisite scrambling for majestic views of Wadi Rum's dramatic desert landscapes across to Saudi Arabia in the distance.
