This Southeast Asian bicycle tour takes you well off Cambodia's beaten path, away from the temples and into the heart of natural wonders such as mangrove forests, secluded beaches, waterfalls, rivers and the rainforest of the Cardamom Mountains. Using boats to go deep into forests we'll explore small villages and even ancient burial sites containing cultural artifacts.
From Cambodia's capital of Phnom Penh, we ride to the Gulf of Thailand and the former resort town of Kep and spend the day cycling along the coastline through quaint fishing villages. After a day at the beach, we head north to the Cardamom Mountains and overnight at a Community Based Eco-Tourism (CBET) project that is offering locals an alternative living to logging and hunting. Here we ride on single track trails before cycling further north and an eco-lodge that also boasts the nearby Tatai waterfall.
We leave Cambodia and ride into Thailand where we'll ride along the quiet coastline of the Kingdom and visit a few Eco-based communities where we can assist in their restoration efforts. This multi country bike tour is perfect for those looking to venture away from the popular tourist attractions, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, and get friendly with the locals.

Riding among the crests of Indochina’s highest peak, Fansipan, we cross the formidable terrain to Dien Bien Phu, the impressive site of the final defeat of the French colonial forces in 1954. Crossing into Laos at an isolated border crossing, we cycle riverside trails and venture into remote villages far from the tourist track. Witness agrarian local life and untamed topography as we overnight at riverside guest houses and enjoy cruises on longtail boats, then cycle into the pristine natural haven of Nong Khiaw. The north of Thailand was my FAVOURITE. I loved the diverse range of 'stays' which kept it exciting and much like an adventure and showed what Thailand had to offer. The Jungle Raft on the second night was an essential bonding experience for the group and allowed us to build friendships and enjoy the trip way more than if we hadn't had that crucial opportunity to connect. The included experiences, free time add ons, and even trip manager suggestions were all top tier! I didn't regret a single experience. 2 night stays were also a relief as travelling can get quite tiring and found that their timing was essential.

I had a great time on this tour, it was a really great way to take the stress and anxiety out of going to a new country by yourself and not knowing the language. It was good mix of activities, nature, temples, cities, and food. The experience I had with them felt far more authentic and less touristy than the other tour I booked right after the trip in Hanoi. Would happily travel with them again!

Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Luang Prabang, Laos, were once the centers of powerful kingdoms in the highlands of Southeast Asia. Today, these two cities—steeped in rich cultural heritage—are must-sees on any travel itinerary to the region. Connecting them by bike takes you off the beaten path, through jungle-clad mountains, along meandering rivers, past glimmering Buddhist temples, and into remote ethnic villages. Over the course of 11 exhilarating days, we travel by road, trail, and boat to explore the north’s picturesque landscapes and captivating cultures.
Starting from bustling Chiang Mai, we warm up in the flat plains surrounding the Ping River before venturing deeper into the hilly terrain of northern Thailand. We ride along gravel trails and backcountry roads, visit the sacred Chiang Dao Caves, and unwind at a riverside hotel by the Mae Kok River. Next, we weave through hilltribe country to reach the city of Chiang Rai before cycling along the banks of the Mekong River to the border with Laos. This mighty river becomes our home for a couple of hours as we cruise by slow boat from the Laos border to the village of Pakbeng. Following this, we embark on a series of leg-testing days on remote national roads, surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, and overnight in quaint riverside towns. One more scenic boat journey takes us to Nong Khiaw along the Nam Ou River, followed by a final long and winding ride into the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Luang Prabang. This enchanting city is renowned for its classic temples, colonial architecture, and Old World charm. The tour concludes in Luang Prabang.
