Known for its world-famous Passion Plays, performed every ten years, it is impossibly picturesque; its houses are decorated with elaborate paintings known as Luftmalerei and prettily carved wooden balconies overflow with geraniums. One small suggestion I’d love to make: I really wish there were some slower-paced itineraries available. While I appreciate how much we get to see, sometimes we visit multiple cities in one day, arrive at the hotel late, and then have to wake up early to head to the next destination. It would be amazing to have an option with a more relaxed rhythm to truly soak in each place.
