This was my first Trutravels, and group tour experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide and group of people to have spent the past 10 days with! I’ve made friends for life with some of the girls and we all agreed that our hearts felt very full at the end of the 10 day…If anything I wished the tour was longer! Our guide Jose was a brilliant group leader and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great trip, he was very friendly, fun, and such a genuinely nice guy and you could tell how much he loved Costa Rica as his hometown. He made himself available 24/7 for us all and nothing was too much of an ask!

This is a new option for prospective visitors to Costa Rica and one I would unreservedly recommend. The anticipated daily downpours didn't materialise [ though, of course there was some rain ], and we spent most of the trip observing fantastic wildlife in dense jungle or warm, blue seas under blue skies. The hotels were all comfortable and well located and the mix between activity and leisure was well planned.

As an ex trolley dolly I would consider myself a seasoned traveller used to travelling independently. Food was delicious in every situation. The hotels were fabulous. Our tour manager was the best we have ever had. Her knowledge of Costa Rica was remarkable. The farm tour was very good and loved fixing our lunch. We enjoyed the coffee tour and bought many things at their store. Loved the Swinging Bridge tour snd my 78 year old husband absolutely loved the zip line!!! Kudos to Collette for putting together a fabulous tour. We are doing a Collette tour in June from Rome to the Amalfi Coast.

We did a little of everything trip was not rushed and the tour guide was excellent. We visited ruins and had a great interpedation we swam in the river at the waterfalls had a boat trip with lots of birds. The cooking school was fun and educational and snorkelling and visiting the island was amazing. Tour group was the right size.
