It was a wonderful experience. The hotels are way above my expectations. Just one little thing not too important is that there is drop off fee at Faro airport. I totally recommend this tour to my friends.
Escape for three days in the Sea Capital of Bulgaria, Varna. This is a very good trip but fell down on two points: 1) Just half a day in Colombo is woefully inadequate. 2) The current Explore practice on many recent trips of large lunches (In the case of Sri Lanka buffet group lunches in tourist restaurants) followed by large evening meals, also invariably as a group, is crazy. Most group members complained about this. A light lunch sampling local "street type" food, soup or light sandwiches followed by a decent evening meal would be infinitely more sensible. We all agreed that given we were not walking very far on most days no one needs two huge meals a day!
The experience of seeing so many animals in their natural habitat exceeded our expectations and waking up to the sound & smells of the zebras & wildebeest at our campsite with girafe in the distance was unexpected and surreal - will never forget it!

Variety of food could have been more varied, smash at every meal and the same green salad. but the food was all well prepared and tasty. i liked the trip very much and would recommend it. the pre trip info pack needs review it offer inaccurate and out of date information.
The. Itinerary was comprehensive and diverse.. It covered the many cultural and historical aspects of Thailand but also included many experiences that were very entertaining as well educational all of which helped to understand and value the rich culture of the country. We loved our guide , having traveled extensively, she was by far the best combination of organization, fraternity, education, gastronomy, cultural immersion and fun, fun, fun! Best guide in an absolutely treasure of a country.
This was one of my favorite trips. The itinerary was good, our tour guide was excellent and the small group tours allow for more flexibility more time at locations when everyone agreed to make small changes. Their prices are also very reasonable even as a single traveler.
We saw and learned a great deal and had what I felt was enough free time and choices. Our guide was great - knowledgeable, personable, and could anticipate our needs. We had a nice group - 29 persons which wasn't too large.
