This three-day, guided climb takes you to the top of Mount Meru in Tanzania. Mount Meru is the third highest peak in Africa and Tanzania's second highest mountain, with the elevation of 4,568m. Located in Arusha National Park, the mountain is less popular than its taller sibling, Mount Kilimanjaro. The ascent is quite steep and the route to the summit passes over streams, through parklands, forests and a moorland. You will reach the summit via a narrow, barren ridge, which provides stunning views. The technical requirements for climbing Mount Meru are greater than on Kilimanjaro routes.
