Our location: NORTH COVE MARINA located in Battery Park City on the corner of Liberty and South End Avenue.
North Cove Marina is located in Battery Park City situated across from the World Trade Center Memorial surrounded by Brookfield Place (Formerly World Financial Center) on the corner of Liberty and South End Ave.
The ramp leading to the marina is on the corner of Liberty and South End Ave. behind the security barrier. Walk toward the three flag poles. Tribeca Sailing and TARA are located at the end of the first dock after walking down the ramp.
•60 Day prior to sail booked: You are may cancel and receive a refund minus a $20 service fee.
•Within 24 days of sail booked: You can rechedule your sail for up to one calendar year and no refund will be made available.
•Within 5 days of sail booked: No rebooking and no refund.
•Please arrive 15 minutes early to avoid losing your payment as we will set sail five minutes past your scheduled sailing time. If you are a now show there will be no refund and no possibility to re-book your sail even if you call ahead to say you are running late.
Terms, Conditions and Weather Policies
•Length of time for each sail is flexible in nature due to tides, winds and other weather conditions. Every effort will be made to adhere to the sailing schedule however, Tribeca Sailing NYC cannot be held responsible for sails that end earlier or later than scheduled.
•Every possible effort will be made to go sailing on your scheduled date and time, however Mother Nature can shake things up a little bit, such as with Hurricane Sandy. For safety reasons Tribeca Sailing NYC reserves the right to cancel any sail due to adverse weather conditions. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to: excessive winds (to be determined by the Captain of the vessel), thunder and lightning storms and other extreme weather warnings issued by The National Weather Service.
•Tribeca Sailing NYC cannot be responsible for last minute mechanical failures. Our boats are maintained to very high standards but they are mechanical objects and mechanics can fail at the last minute.
•Cancelled sails to due to adverse weather conditions or mechanical failure will receive an email voucher valid for one calendar year. Absolutely no refunds will be issued.
•Please note that sailing will occur during the following conditions: Rain, cloudy skies, cold or hot temperatures and humid conditions. See FAQ’s for more details.
•Passengers must weigh at least 40 pounds to go sailing. We do not carry life jackets for passengers under 20 pounds. Passengers under the age of 16 are required by law to wear a life jacket. Life Jackets are not required by NY State law for passengers over the age of 16. If you wish to wear a life jacket please inform your captain prior to boarding the boat. Triebeca Sailing NYC reccomends the use of a life jacket.
•Passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
•Tribeca Sailing NYC will not sail with just one person signed up for a specific time slot without obtaining prior approval prior to making a reservatoin.
•All passengers, parents or guardians are required to sign a release form. No passenger will be allowed to board the vessel without signing the release form.
