Day 2-SINTRA IS A MUST!
Known worldwide for its green exuberance, hidden places, secret gardens and unique and historical monuments. Once a former residence of the Royalty and Nobility, Sintra has much to offer. Allow yourself to be taken into this magical place and visit some truly remarkable sites that can go from the 16th century “Capuchos Convent” with its amazing fusion to nature, beautiful gardens, amazing views and ancient ruins to the 19th century’s best examples of Portuguese Romanticism.
Day 3- We invite you to enjoy a day in our country’s capital where you can can get to know all of its best sites.
Start the day by enjoying a very traditional pastry in “Pasteis de Belém” - a bakery established in 1837 - near the ancient, historical and beautiful Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower, both World Heritage
of Mankind and two of the 7 wonders of Portugal. Have a ride through the ancient downtown center of Lisbon and its hills while travelling to the S. Jorge Castle.
Finish the day at Parque das Nações – home to Expo’98 - where you can bear witness to all of Tagus River’s magnificence and explore the wonderful Lisbon’s Oceanarium.
We'll head north to Visit Fátima the biggest Portuguese Sanctuary destination for more than 5 million pilgrims every year.
Next stop Batalha Monastery and Alcobaça Monastery both World Heritage SItes of UNESCO and 2 of the 7 Wonders of Portugal.
We´ll make a stop at Nazaré Fishing Village for Its Unique views and small sanctuary and we'll finish the day at Óbidos Medieval Town and another world heritage site and wonder of Portugal.
Lunch may take place at Batalha or Nazaré.
Sintra is a magic mountain full of beautiful monuments, hidden gardens and secret places that will for sure leave its mark on you. Get to know the western-most point of Europe Roca's Cape and the small but fashion fishing village of Cascais.
Pena Palace, Sintra Town Palace, Regaleira Estate and Capuchos Convent are just some of the possible options to be selected in this unique day.
Someone once said that Lisbon has to be smelled, felt and known. Beautiful, historical and unique our capital as much to offer. Get "lost" in it and you will understand why!
