On clear days, you’ll marvel at panoramic views of Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Langtang, Gauri Shankar, and even the mighty Mt. Everest. The trek also includes cultural highlights: visits to the UNESCO-listed Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu Narayan Temple, both steeped in history and artistry.

day 1 - Hike to Nagarkot

09.00hrs: After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and drive to Jarsingpauwa for Nagarkot hike.
10.00hrs: Arrive in Jarsingpauwa and start hike to Nagarkot
It is an easy 9 km hike to Nagarkot, offering panoramic mountain views, charming villages, and beautiful landscapes. The trail follows a scenic route with views of both the Himalayas and the Kathmandu Valley.
13.00hrs: Arrive in Nagarkot. Check in hotel followed by rest and relaxation.
Enjoy the sunset and amazing view of mountains.
Note: Dinner at your hotel.
day 2 - Nagarkot – Changunarayan - Bhaktapur- Kathmandu

Enjoy a stunning sunrise and breathtaking mountain views from Nagarkot.
00.00hrs: Have breakfast and enjoy some free time before departing.
09.30hrs: Drive to Telkot from Nagarkot (approx. 30 minutes) and start hike to Changunarayan Temple
From Telkot, begin a short but scenic hike to Changunarayan Temple, known for its peaceful trail that offers a glimpse into the old Kathmandu Valley lifestyle. Upon arrival, explore Changunarayan, the oldest temple in the Kathmandu Valley, rich in art and history and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
13.00hrs: Continue the journey with a drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
13.00hrs: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is well-preserved medieval royal palace complexes in Nepal, renowned for its exquisite Newari architecture, centuries-old temples, traditional courtyards, & lively local culture. It is often referred to as a living museum.
After exploring Bhaktapur, drive back to Kathmandu.

Wonderful Trek
