Hanoi – Halong (-/L/-)
In the morning:
7:30 - 8:30 a.m: Pick you up at the hotel and leave for Halong Bay. Short break en route in Hai Duong Province (20mins). Arrive in Halong Bay around 12:00. Get on a traditional wooden junk boat.
In the afternoon:
12.30 p.m: Lunch with fresh seafood is served (vegetarian and kids menus available). We are slowly getting off the classic cruising routes, keep admiring the amazing kasts with different formations on the way. Limestone rock formations will parade around us for about 2 hours before our first stop.
Cruise around Halong Bay, and take photos. On the way, witness the beauty of Dinh Huong Island (incense burner), Cho Da Island (stone dog), and Ga Choi Island (fighting cocks). You will enjoy sunbathing and the magnificent scenery of Halong Bay.
2.30 p.m: Cruise to visit Thien Cung and Dau Go caves, and a fishing-farm located on the bay. Walk up about 60 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat.
Thien Cung Cave or the Cave of Heavenly Palace is on the same island with Dau Go Cave. While Dau Go Cave boasts the mossy beauty and glorious history, Thien Cung Cave makes the visitors the impression of being in a heavenly world.
4.30 p.m: At the end of the day, cruise back to the harbor and take a bus back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel.

Other Practical InformationIt's not the cliffs themselves that make HaLong Bay unique, but rather their sheer number. A huge bay, dotted with nearly 2,000 mostly uninhabited limestone cliffs, the breathtaking scenery is very similar to that of the Andaman coast of Thailand, Vang Vieng in Laos and Guilin in China. Created over millions of years, tectonic forces slowly thrust the limestone above the water-line. During this process waves lapping against the stone carved out a number of vast, striking caverns, as well as other geologically interesting formations, such as tunnel caves and uniquely shaped massifs. The first time you visiting, you will be memory forever. Tour Notes: Bring walking shoes, raincoat, jacket, extra clothes, torch, insect repellent and sunscreen... Beware of your luggage and money Inform in advance if you are vegetarian. All customers must obey the order of your tour guide for your safety.
