Depends upon your arrival, this afternoon you will have some free time to explore Hanoi on your own, Before getting our overnight bus to Sapa, our guide will pick you up at your Hotel stay or meeting point around 8:45 PM, the bus is leaving around 10 PM. Arrival time Sapa town around 4 AM
The sleeper bus throughout Vietnam are quite comfortable and an experience on its own. Each of you will have your own bunk bed. All bedding is provided. The bus is air conditioned and has Western style toilets Bags can be stored. Food and drinks are not available for purchase on the bus. The bus might stop on the way.
Are you ready for the "Real Sapa Experience"! After arriving in Sapa in the early morning of day 2, you will arrive around 4 AM. From the bus station it's 10 minutes walk to our hotel. On arrival at our hotel you'll be offered a refreshing shower and enjoy breakfast on the top floor with stunning views of Sapa town and the Muong Huo valley.
Your local private Hmong tour guide will meet you after breakfast at around 8-8:30 a.m. On your request she or he will offer you to have your luggage transported to our homestay in Ta Van. We'll start our trekking with a visit at the market to buy food and fruit for lunch, on the way, before we’ll start this fantastic trek to Cat Cat Waterfalls, Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van, down in the Muong Hoa valley.
During our 15 km walk on an less or non-touristic track of ricepaddy fields & buffolao tracks, we’ll visit three villages of ethnic populations. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley that leads towards Fansipan, the highest peak in Viet Nam and Indochina. The trek leads through the village of Black Hmong people, where you can see how they weave and embroider their incredible clothes. Further along our descent we’ll enjoy the many colorful rice paddy fields until we reach Ta Van village, inhabited by the Dzay people.
We’ll have a filling lunch on the way and dinner in a traditional house in Ta Van. We overnight in the "Homestay" with a local family, where we pick our veggy's from the garden, enjoy 30 min free foot massage and be ready for the evenings cooking class. We will have dinner with the family. The homestay accommodation for the evening is basic bedding and mosquito nets are provided.
On day 3, after a traditional breakfast we leave Ta Van and continue our trek to visit the Red Dao people in Giang Ta Chai village. We pass some stunning scenery and a lovely waterfall along our route. As their name suggests, red is used extensively in the Red Dao women’s clothing and scarves. The terrain can be steep at times and slightly challenging. However, passengers with a moderate fitness level should be fine.
Our journey leads us along the small paths edging the rice fields, across the Muong Hoa River and lunch will be on the way at a fantastic spot. We’ll head back to Ta Van after our second amazing trekking in the early afternoon where we enjoy our lunch before heading back to Sapa town, where we will start late afternoon our city walking food tour, after that shower service available and dinner will offered. Your sleeper bus is leaving at 10 PM at the bus station for your depart to Hanoi.
The departure times of the bus is around 10:00 PM
On Day 4, arriving back at Hanoi, arrival times are early, between 4 and 5:30 AM. Tour Ends at bus station/stop.
