Why book with Us
Why with Trek Nepal?
Coming to Nepal is a dream for many people. To wander the highest mountains in the world, meet Buddhist monks, raft the deepest gorge – these are the things legends are made of.Adventure and spirituality mix in this ancient landscape. At Trek Nepal we have been showing people the real Nepal for nearly 20 years. Choose from over 30 trip itineraries, or let us tailor-make something just for you. This is our country, and we have six reasons why you should see it with us.
ONE.Trek Nepal is 100% Nepali owned and operated
The best way to see Nepal is with the locals. Whether shopping for Tibetan trinkets, walking over snowy mountain passes, or eating momos down an alleyway, we can show you a Nepal that you won’t find in books. Our guides were born in these mountains and would love to share it with you. Booking with a local company also makes sure that your money stays in Nepal, with the locals, where it should be.
TWO. Your safety and enjoyment is our priority
Trek Nepal puts your safety and enjoyment first. Our guides know how to maximize your fun and immerse you in the local culture, while keeping you safe. Our guides are all trained in first aid and CPR and Wilderness First Aid. They know the local conditions and can avoid potential situations, so you can just enjoy yourself.
THREE. Qualified male/female guides
At Trek Nepal we know that your experience is linked to how good the guide is. We train our guides well and treat them like family.By taking care of them we know that they will take care of you. Many have been guiding for more than a decade. They speak Nepal and English and often other languages too – like Tibetan or Sherpa. We recruit our guides mainly from the villages.
FOUR. Sustainable and eco-friendly tours
Mountains are fragile places. They are islands of culture –some of them have developed in isolation for over 1,000 years. We are honoured to share these cultures with you. We trek responsibly, without disturbing the environment or the culture. We also have special tours that allow you to put back into the local community.
FIVE. Guaranteed price with no hidden costs
A lot of people think that they can save money by trekking independently. But lodges, food and other expenses in the mountains can add up. Cut out the middleman by booking direct with us. We get the best rates with local knowledge and pass on the group savings to you. Our trek itineraries are fixed price, with no extras on the trail.
SIX. Recommended by several guide books and highly rated for customer satisfaction
Don’t take our word – see what our customers have said. You can see their comments and feedback on Trip Advisor. We are also recommended by Responsibletravel.com and KEEP (Kathmandu Education and Environment Program), and have been recommended by the Lonely Planet since 2008.
