Our ethos is about having an open mind, welcoming new experiences and engaging with the communities that we visit. These are the values that guide everything we do at The Coyote Trip. From researching new trips to running the tours themselves—our goal is to give our “Coyotes” the best and most authentic experience possible. From hiking in Yosemite, making clam chowder in Boston to discovering Alcatraz—we aim to enrich, inspire and enthrall!
Our range of Coyote Trips is jam-packed with epic experiences from camping under the stars at the Grand Canyon, whale watching in Boston to surfing off the Californian coast. All our tours have a whole raft of included, unmissable “coyote experiences” and our adventure leaders are young, dynamic locals who will bring a slice of Americana to life. Our America budget tours are aimed at travelers who wish to really experience the places that they visit. We do the unmissable sights but also do a whole host of cultural, fun activities. In New York, we’ll do a morning of yoga in Central Park, in Boston- we’ll make clam chowder and we’ll in-line skate along Venice Beach.
Connect with culture
We aim to really connect with the places that we visit and arrange opportunities to meet with great local characters. In Vegas, that means being shown around by a local concert promoter or volunteering at a soup kitchen in L.A. We offer a new perspective and understanding of different cultures, religions and lifestyles.
Epic adventure leaders
All of our Adventure Leaders are Americans who are passionate about showcasing the beauty and history of their country. They will enhance your travel experience and offer insight into the local history, cultures and traditions throughout your group tour. They’ll give you the local info on the best places to eat, drink and relax in as well.

Like yourself, many other Coyotes on your group tour are also solo travelers but we do also welcome couples and groups of friends. You’ll meet people from all over the world, who wish to broaden their horizons. You never know who you might meet! We treat all of our Coyotes as part of the family and will be with you every step of the way. Pre departure we have a whole team of Adventure Specialists to answer all of your questions. Once you have joined the group tour, your Adventure Leader will be there to help you and will be supported by our able operations team.

We are not a big, faceless corporation but are small and independently owned. We are really proud of the business and do our very best to make sure every trip is a fantastic experience.
