Our trip to Scotland with Luxury Gold was wonderful, great accommodations a wonderful tour guide and bus driver. It truly did not disappoint.
We loved seeing Edinburgh and Glasgow, but also the Highlands. The places we visited had the right mix of history and culture. We visited some wonderful restaurants.

The tour director and driver were wonderful however the actual tour does not live up to its marketing. The company may be called luxury gold however the fine dining experiences are very average and the marketed “magnificent stays” are three and maybe 4 star accommodations with only standard rooms over looking car parks provided. Compared to other similarly priced tours, luxury gold does not the offer the same level of beautiful accomodation and really interesting experiences. It’s really lacking compared to other companies.

The Ferry to the Isle of Mull was not able to accommodate our coach. They need to fix their systems. Not the fault of Luxury Gold though.
