day 1Arrival to Airport(KIA) - Lake Manyara National Park

You will be met at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro upon your arrival at 09:05 am.
After your safari briefing, you will drive towards Lake Manyara National Park through Arusha town. You will have a stop in Arusha town for currency exchange and a quick freshening up.
Later on, with picnic lunch, you will continue with your trip to Lake Manyara National Park for your half day game drive in the park.
Large flocks of pink flamingos along the lake are some of the highlights of this park. The national park is also home to the unique tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara, which you’ll have the chance to see lounging in the high tree branches. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo and others.
Eventually you will arrive and stay overnight near the beautiful Lake Manyara, which Ernest Hemingway called the “The loveliest lake in Africa.”
