Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to booking enquiries made on or after 1 July 2026. For bookings made before that date, the previous Terms of Use, Business Terms of Use, Terms of Business of Suppliers of Tours and Bookers continue and Data Policy continue to apply.

Our service

Bookmundi ApS (“Bookmundi”, “we”, “us”) operates the website bookmundi.com and designated partner websites (the “Website”), where vetted local tour operators and suppliers (“Suppliers”) present multi-day tours, experiences, tickets, and related products (“Products”).

We believe the best way to plan a trip is to deal directly with the operator who runs it on the ground. When you find a Product you like, you send a booking enquiry through the Website. We pass your enquiry to the Supplier, who responds to you directly. When you are happy and ready to book, you book and pay the Supplier direct, and your contract is with that Supplier alone. Bookmundi is a referral and enquiry service: we help you find the right trip and connect you with the Supplier. We are not a tour operator, travel organiser, or agent for the Supplier, and we are not a party to your booking.

Your booking and your contract

When you submit a booking enquiry you are not charged. Your contract is formed directly with the Supplier, on the Supplier’s own terms and conditions, when the Supplier confirms your booking. Those terms govern your trip in full — including what is included, changes, cancellation, and refunds — so please read them carefully before you book. Prices shown on the Website are a guide only; the final, binding price is the one the Supplier quotes you at the time of booking. Amounts shown in other currencies are based on the latest currency conversion and are indicative only.

Payment

You pay the Supplier directly, on the Supplier’s payment terms. Bookmundi does not collect, hold, or refund payment for these bookings, and any refund due is made by the Supplier under your contract with them. Because you pay the Supplier directly, your payment is not held or protected by Bookmundi. We recommend you confirm with your Supplier how your money is protected, pay by a method that may offer added protection such as credit card or PayPal, and take out comprehensive travel insurance — ideally one that covers supplier failure or insolvency.

Our role and the limits of our liability

We do not take your money on a Supplier’s behalf and we do not act as a go-between in matters relating to your trip. Your contract is with the Supplier, who is fully responsible for every aspect of the Product it sells you, in accordance with its own terms. Listing a Supplier or Product on the Website is not a recommendation or a representation that it is suitable for your purpose, and we give no guarantee as to the quality or standard of any Product.

To the extent permitted by law, Bookmundi is liable to you only in the case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and any such liability is limited to direct damages, excluding indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, and punitive damages. Without limiting this, Bookmundi is not liable for any injury or damage to persons or property arising during or in connection with any Product booked as a result of an enquiry made through the Website, nor for computer viruses or similar. We will, however, support you in raising any issue with your Supplier in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied; if a problem arises, we recommend you contact the Supplier at the earliest opportunity, preferably while still travelling.

Vetting and information on the Website

We make every effort to vet our Suppliers and to ensure the information on the Website meets appropriate standards, but inclusion of a Supplier or Product is not an endorsement or guarantee of its claims. Much of the content about Products — wording, descriptions, and imagery — is supplied by the Suppliers themselves. We rely on that information and cannot assume responsibility for it; please verify all details, including the proposed itinerary, directly with the Supplier before booking. Information on the Website may contain errors, inaccuracies, or mistranslations, and we are not liable for these.

Reviews and other content you submit

You may contribute content to the Website, including reviews, ratings, questions, answers, profile information, and images (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to submit it, and that it is lawful and not false, misleading, or defamatory. You grant Bookmundi an irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reformat, edit, distribute, and promote Your Content for any purpose, and to allow third parties to do so. All reviews, ratings, Supplier and Product information, and other content published on Bookmundi remain the property of Bookmundi and may not be used or distributed by others without Bookmundi’s prior written consent.

Intellectual property

All materials on the Website — text, graphics, images, logos, trade marks, and design — are protected by intellectual property laws and belong to Bookmundi or its licensors, except content uploaded by Suppliers, which belongs to them. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, publish, or create derivative works from any of it without our written consent, beyond viewing the Website and printing pages for your own personal use.

Eligibility

You confirm that you are of sufficient legal age to use the Website and to enter binding obligations, and that you will not use it for any unlawful purpose. You also confirm that you are not a national of Cuba, and that if you are a national of Iran, Syria, Sudan, Myanmar (Burma), or North Korea, your payment card is not issued in, and your booking is not made from, any of those territories.

Your account

You may register an account using your correct name and accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may decline or close an account at our discretion.

Links and third-party websites

The Website may link to sites operated by others. We provide these for convenience only, do not control them, and are not responsible for their content.

Data and privacy

When you make an enquiry, we share the information needed to handle it — including your contact details — with the relevant Supplier so they can respond and arrange your booking. Our use of your data is described in our Data Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time. The terms in force when you submit your enquiry apply to that enquiry.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed exclusively by Danish law and subject to arbitration in Copenhagen, Denmark.
