They pointed out hidden waterfalls and offered valuable insights, making the journey both physically challenging and culturally enriching. As we continued on to the next phase of the trek, from Makalu Base Camp to Everest Base Camp, the scenery became even more awe-inspiring. The towering peaks of the Himalayas surrounded us, their snow-capped summits glistening in the sunlight. We navigated through rocky terrain and crossed icy rivers, relying on our sherpa guides to lead the way. Their unwavering support and encouragement motivated us to push through the physical challenges and reach new heights.
